General information

The market area conversion from L-gas (L-gas) to H-gas (H-gas) in Germany will take place gradually until 2030. The conversion of gas appliances in the affected regions is necessary because L-gas has a lower calorific value than H-gas. The nozzles on the affected gas appliances will be replaced and the pressure at the gas valve will be readjusted. Affected appliances include :

• Gas boilers
• Gas boiler
• Gas room heater
• Gas ovens
• Gas stoves

What to do if your device cannot be converted?

If you are here because the network operator has informed you that your gas appliance cannot be converted and you can answer the following questions with "yes":

1. Have you sought advice from a trusted heating specialist about alternative devices?
2. Are there no safety-related reasons to stop using your gas appliance?
3. Has your chimney sweep agreed to continue inspecting the device?
4. Do you currently not want or are unable to purchase an alternative device?

Why is your device considered non-convertible?

The network operator will usually contact the manufacturer of your gas appliance to see if conversion parts are available. If the manufacturer no longer exists or cannot supply parts, your appliance will be classified as non-convertible.

What do we do?

We work closely with specialist companies in the gas industry and use nozzle blanks according to the manufacturer's specifications (drawings or samples). These blanks are qualitatively equivalent to the original part in every respect. We have also evaluated all relevant manufacturer documents and created a comprehensive database containing the required nozzle shape, bore, quantity, and pressure setting on the gas valve for all models we offer.

Why are there no certificates for our nozzle sets?

Our nozzle sets are primarily aftermarket spare parts . We transparently explain what types of spare parts we offer so you know exactly what you're buying. Before ordering, speak to your gas installer, as they are responsible for carrying out the conversion professionally and confirming it with the network operator.

There are generally no certificates for nozzles, not even for original parts! For trouble-free and safe operation, it is only important that only identical nozzles are used, in the number and bore specified for operation with H-gas according to the manufacturer's documentation.

The nozzle pressure we specify always refers to the standard Wobbe index for natural gas H: 15.0 kWh/m³ / 12,900 kcal/m³ / 54.0 KJ/m³.

Determining the appropriate nozzle set

We provide a lot of information in our descriptions (manufacturer, model name according to the nameplate, quantity and code/bore size of the required nozzles). If you are unsure which nozzles are suitable for your device, send us an inquiry via email or WhatsApp (see contact details ). Please attach a photo of the nameplate and any other relevant information about your device (especially the nozzle table from the operating/installation instructions).
